Oak class looked at the work of Paul Cezanne and used pastels and paints to copy his still life pictures. 

He often used apples in his still life.

This observational drawing is of one of Monika's wooden African artefacts.

Silver Birch class tried to copy the style of Bridget Riley - a modern artist.  They used a variety of techniques in their work - painting, paper weaving, paper cutting and string printing. 

This pattern was printed using the smaller string pattern stamp.

The children used felt pen to make their Eiffel tower pictures - they used a dot technique, which was used by Georges Seurat.

Silver Birch children looked at an African story 'The Hunter' by Paul Geraghty as a stimulus for this display.

The children used a paint wash for the background.
