Year 2 Leavers' Assembly 2009
Willow and Sycamore classes entertained parents, family, staff and pupils with their leavers assembly. Mrs Jones (the head of Farnham Common Junior School) and some of our Governors were also present.
The theme of the assembly was 'A journey through their school year' - celebrations, visits and special weeks. The importance of looking after our environment was the theme of the story ' Dinosaurs and all that rubbish'.
Thank you to Mrs Wood, who made her usual super costumes and head-dresses and to Mrs Coleman for playing the piano- sadly for the last time.
And the children were super!!!

The story showed how Man didn't look after the planet and then he moved away when the Earth beame too messy. |
The dinosaurs woke up and encouraged the other animals to help clean up the planet.
