Activities organised by the Friends raised enough money to buy 'smartboards' for 2 classrooms - a magnificent effort! The 'smartboards were installed in February 2007. |

A 'Halloween Trail' was organised by Chris Morris during half-term and Burnham Beeches was invaded by witches, skeletons and their parents intent on enjoying a variety of fun activities. |

The Friends organise an annual Christmas Fayre at the end of November to raise funds. The stalls are manned by committee members and volunteers. Among the stalls, there are tombolas, a raffle, games for children, a toy stall, book and video stalls.
For the children, the highlight is always the visit to the grotto to meet a very important visitor - Father Christmas, ably helped by some familiar elves!

George the jester wanted to marry the Princess.
Three children went out to tackle some tasks to become the bravest knight.

In January 2008, the Friends arranged for the Bangers and Mash theatre group to entertain the children after school with a production of 'St George and the dragon'
Parents contributed £1 and the children thoroughly enjoyed the show. |
