Oak and Silver Birch visit Shortenills Environmental Centre

A big thank you to the parents who gave up their time to come with us. 

They explored the woods.   

Oak and Silver Birch classes travelled to Shortenills Environmental centre  to undertake a variety of activities  relating to exploring the environment.

By the look of the photographs, the children and the adults all had great fun!

Even the picnic lunch was an opportunity to reinforce the process of recycling as they had to place their rubbish into the correct bins.

This recycling happens in school too!
