Our trip to Mop End

Yesterday the whole of year 2 where going to Mop End.  First we got to school then we got into the coach it took half an hour and I was in Mrs. Dutton’s group.  When everyone got there we took off our coats and we went into the classroom and we were told who our teachers are there names are Jackie and Tom.  Then they took us outside there were lots of steps and we had to climb them.  after we played a game called the blindfold game and that’s my faviourite.  What you have to do is your adult will put a blindfold on you then she will take you to a tree without you seeing and then she takes you back to a spot and takes your blindfold off and you have to find the tree.  Next we made a colour palette you find colours from the ground.  Later we made smelly cocktails and we had to find smells from the ground.  Then we got on the coach that was a fantastic day.

Mop End

On Wednesday we went to Mop End.  It was fantastic!!!. First we had a little lesson about seasons. Next we went for a walk in the woods, and made cocktails we all smellt each others.  Evry ones smellt very nice. But we had to have a partner, and make the cocktails in a little pot that Jenny gave us (Jenny was our helper for the day).  She was very nice. Then we had another walk in the woods and played hugy trees, we had to have a partner and put a blindfold on.  Your partner had to lead you to a tree, and you had to feal it.  Unfortunately Alfie (my partner) led me to a tree!! It banged my nose and scratched it very hard.  The teacher made my nose much better.  We went to have lunch.  My lunch was very nice. After lunch we made a nest for a glis glis, and put a face one in it we had to put real glis glis blood in it!! If one ream’s blood stays the warmist they win.  And finally we played being a squirrel, so we hid some nuts but we didn’t get time to play that.  So we went in their wigwam.

Mop End

On Wednesday we went on our school trip I am going to tell you what happened.  When we got there we went into a classroom.  We talked about seasons.  After that we went out into the woods we looked up in the sky with a sky eye a sky eye is a sort of mirror.  Then we played make a cocktail Jenny gave us some pots so we could put smelly stuff.  Next we went and played another game it was hugging trees this is how you play  Well you put a blind fold over your head and you have to remember which tree you touched.  After that we went and had lunch my lunch was yummy.  Next we went back outside we made a home for a doremouse we put blood in it.

Then we went out and dug nuts in the ground.  After that we went and sore how hot the doremouses blood was.  Sadly it was time to go back to school.
