Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival 2007

On Thursday 4th October 2007,  parents were invited to the school harvest festival and every class participated with songs, rhymes and poems on the theme of harvest. The Reverend Graham Saunders again joined in with us. Gifts of fruit and produce were collected and displayed, before being sold to parents after school.

The food and produce was sold to raise money the charity 'Seeds for Africa'

  • just £5 will buy a fruit tree
  • £250 will buy a 'One Tree' fruit tree nursery garden for a school.  The pupils will care for their trees, eat the fruit and sell any excess for school funds.

We raised a magnificent £388!!

There is a link to the charity's website in our Websites page for parents.
