LEARNING  IS  A  JOURNEY  -  NOT  A  RACE ! ! !

We celebrate Christmas 2008

As usual lots of Christmas activities went on throughout the school with lots of cards, pictures and calendars decorating the school.   The term ended with two performances of a Nativity play and a Christmas party.

The three kings bring the gifts for the baby Jesus.

All the Year 2 pupils took part in the Nativity.  Rehearsals were made more difficult through illness with several children taking on extra roles very well.

Mrs Coleman wrote and directed the assembly with Mrs Wood organising (and ironing!!) the super costumes.

Parents contributed food for the Christmas party and the children dressed up in their favourite clothes for the occasion.

Mrs Wood and Mrs Buchanan used their  turbo magic wand to keep everybody guessing.  Mrs Buchanan managed to  break the wand, but Mrs Wood still got the right book and jumped for joy.

Then a VERY IMPORTANT VISITOR arrives!!

Again, Father Chrismas found time to pop in with a present for each child.
