LEARNING  IS  A  JOURNEY  -  NOT  A  RACE ! ! !

BOOK WEEK (12th- 16th October 2009)

 

 

 

 

 

 

  This is a week when we look at a variety of books, as well as having visitors in school, who bring books alive. 

 

Our visitors, this year were:

  • Coral Rumble a poet who recited poems to the whole school followed by class workshops.
  • 'The Rainbow Fish' was presented by the 'Blunderbus' theatre group with workshops for each year group.

There was also a Book Fair in school for the week, which provided parents and children the opportunity to look at different books with sales raising an amazing £600 for new books to go into each classroom.
