Dear Parents,

PLANTING BULBS TO SUPPORT MYASTHENIA GRAVIS ASSOCIATION

Many thanks to all those who sent in sponsorship money. A total of £364.00 has been raised, which we will now forward to the Association. In the Spring we will send them 'before' and 'after' photos so they can see the result of the bulb planting.

FOOTSTEPS TRAINING

The Year 2 children have been enjoying this Road Safety training over the past three weeks. The children are taken out in pairs by trained volunteers to cover different aspects of keeping safe. To enable us to maintain the momentum of training the Year 2 children and later on the Year 1 children, we would like to encourage a few of you to train to work with the children. This training takes about two hours and working with the children involves about six afternoons a term. Please let me know if you could help or need more information.

PARKING PROMISE

Well done to the many families that are walking to and from school. Once again, the 'Walking on Wednesday' and 'Friday on Foot' schemes have been very successful. There are times when you need to bring a car to school and to encourage everyone to take responsibility in the car park, please find attached a Parking Promise Agreement. This is not a legal document, but as with the Home-School Agreement, we hope many of you will sign the Agreement as a commitment to what we are trying to achieve in the school.
