Dear Parents,

 

 

PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTION

 

  

Mr. Kevin Blakemore has been duly elected as a Parent Governor for a term of four years.  Thank you to the many who made the effort to send in your votes.

 

 

FUNDRAISING FOR LEPRA

 

  

A final total of £1,349.63 was raised for LEPRA.  Mrs. Mason will be returning to school in the near future with a “well done” plaque for the school and the items that were ordered for those who raised more than £21.  Well done to everyone who helped to raise this fantastic total.

 

 

HOW CHILDREN LEARN

 

  

This evening for parents is on Tuesday, 18^th March, at 7.30 p.m.   If you are planning to attend, please do let us know by returning the slip on the letter or by popping into the office.  The evening promises to be very interesting and enlightening.

 

 

THEATRE GROUP VISIT

 

  

On Friday afternoon, 14^th March, the children will be enjoying a theatre group production of a play called 1,2,3 Splash.  This will be a science based entertainment.

 

 

DATES

 

  

• 19^th March – The Friends of the School will be holding an Easter Cake Stall and raffle at the end of the school day.  Look out for a board with information about this event.

   

• You will shortly be receiving a Travel Survey.  It is important we have as many as possible of these returned to help maintain our Level 3 Travel Plan.

   

• Silver Birch Class assembly on Thursday, 3^rd April, at 9.15 a.m.   Please make other arrangements for children younger than school age.
