Home - School Agreement

WHAT IS THE HOME - SCHOOL AGREEMENT?
This agreement is to help us all to have a better understanding of what we are all endeavouring to achieve for your child.

Farnham Common Infant School has broad aims for the whole school and as we get to know your child we will develop specific aims for your child. Importance is placed on children developing appropriate attitudes and behaviour patterns to help them relate to their peers, adults in school and those in the wider community.

Children in the school have the right to a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the Foundation Curriculum and Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum.

Your child will be assessed when they start school giving us a baseline from which to work. As they progress through the school they will do other standardised tests in Reading and Mathematics to give us information about the progress they are making. At the end of Year 2, when they are seven, all children take part in Standardised Assessments and Tasks (SATs). Back to top
